 Attendance/Work Completion Policy

If a student does not complete any work in a 24-hour period, the teacher will reach out to the student and parent, via email, to let them know there has been no work completed.  This will happen twice. If there was a third 24-hour period of no work, an administrator will conference with the parent and student to determine if the student can still complete the class by June 24.

Teachers will communicate with students and parents regarding work completion and grading via email.  Final grades will be sent out around July 1.

If you are a non-WHS student interested in registering please contact Kathy Johansen at johansen.kathryn@westside66.net.

Student Conduct

Students attending summer school are expected to be responsible learners and citizens.  However, those instances of irresponsibility that will warrant immediate withdrawal from summer school with no credit or refund are:

Although summer school will be conducted online this year, the school dress code policy is still in effect. Casual attire is acceptable in summer school (i.e., shorts, slacks, etc.).  Students should follow the school year dress code.
